Fgtech Galletto V54 needs to close error solution

Problem:
I have installed on my new WinXP computer Fgtech galletto 4 v54 sofware and its give now error.i have used usb fix files. I disable anti-virus program and network connection. I re-install software several times,but still failed.

Error:

FGtech v54 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Fgtech Galletto V54 tested model and engines

I tested Delphi crd 2.61 BDM EDC16 with Jtag can work with BGA Clio 1.2 ok. Now I'm off to EDC17.Tried solution properties on edc16c39 Alfa 159, does not work by OBD.BDM OK, tried on 4 ECU Bosch.EDC17 Passat 2.0TDI 2008, read and write ok by OBD.EDC17 bmw320d 2008 ra ad write by OBD okEC17c46, class b mb 180cdi 2009 Tricore read a script, okay also.I test sid804 ford with OBD works well!

Fgtech Galletto V54 read Chevrolet caprice and GMC 04

I have read some GM models with Fgtech Galletto 4 V54 master clone ecu programmer. I want to share with you what i have discovered about Fgtech V54 so far.

I put Winxp on an old laptop without anti-virus program, it goes well.

I have tried it on 2008 Chevrolet caprice E38(Middle East), and 2004 GMC 1MB. It's worked with them.

FgTech Galletto flashes Bosch EDC16 ME9 ECU

Here is the instruction on how to flash Bosch EDC16 ME9 ECU via BDM with FgTech Galletto 2 master clone ecu programmer.

Procedure of BDM flashing EDC16 with FgTech galletto:
See the BDM pads

Now careully read with adapter springs drop and secure frame

Open FgTech 2 software

Make sure that you have 12+v feeding FgTech and the intermediate adapter

Swicth intermidiate adapter ON

Red LED will illuminate

Click to Select Driver –> BDM/JTAG –> BDM/JTAG Mode –>BDM MPC –> 55x/56x

Click Connect

ECU information

When finished, turn off the switch and exit FgTech 2 program

Fgtech Galletto 2 EU failed to write EDC17,what works

A customer shared his problem and solution when read and write EDC17 with the FGTech Galletto 2 master ecu programmer.

“I tried to read in boot mode the ECU EDC17 C41 – TC1797 from bmw 116 F20 bosch nr. 0281030980,
with FGTech Galletto 2 EU and when click in “ECU Data” button appear this info from ecu :

I tried to use the TRICORE PASSWORD TPROT V08 from menu without boot mode but i can’t.
Says the message fgtech error

Then how can I read / write this ecu for tuning with my tool FGTech Galletto EU version?

Forget about F series with FGTECH, you can’t do it.
Including KTAG, it can only on Exx series BMW, NOT Fxx.
So far, the ideal ECU programmer is DS17 Infineon Tricore Boot Reader, a part of senior engineers have proved it can worked out EDC17, while KESS V2 can’t.

Fgtech Galletto V54 master "required new tool 2012"

Problem:
One of obdii365 customer want to program Citroen 1.6 HDi EDC16 and vw golf 6 1.6 tdi pcr 2.1 online with Fgtech galletto 4 v54 master BDM-Tricore-OBD programmer, but the fgtech v54 software prompts error message "required new tool 2012"
